Thanks for watching! In this Godot Game Engine tutorial I cover:
Creating an enemy that you can re-use (make instances of), that falls with gravity, moves in either direction along a platform, and can change direction when it hits a wall or the edge of a cliff
How to export variables of an object (each enemy) to the object's inspector, so you can customize each enemy's behavior.
How to use RayCast2Ds so that an enemy will detect the edge of a cliff
**The NEXT tutorial will cover collisions between the enemy and the player.
Note: As of this tutorial I am using Godot 3.2.2 (up from 3.2.1 in the previous parts of this mini-series). Nothing needed changing in this project. (But create a backup of your project if you think you might want to downgrade later!)
