Hi guys!! In this video I want to show some really easy and cute valentine day little gift ideas. You can give them to your boyfriend girlfriend or friends and show them how much you care about them. They are all really inexpensive to make so I hope you like them.
The first one is a cute card. Fold a piece of cardstock in half to make the card and then cut another piece of cardstock of a different color slightly smaller than the other one. Take a piece of twine and tape it to the back of the small cardstock piece as I’m doing in the video and glue that to the larger piece of cardstock.
Then take a red piece of felt and cut two hearts and with the help of some little pins hang them on the twine. You may want to take them out while you write the message. Then write I love hanging out with you. Finally outline the card with a cute washi tape and that’s it! Then, you can write whatever you want inside and give it to your someone special.
For the next little gift take a matchbox and cute a piece of cardstock of the same width. Then wrap that piece around the box and glue it in place. With the help of a punch or just with scissors make a bunch of pink hearts and glue them to the box. Then take out the matches and fill the box with your favorite candy. In a little piece of cardstock write “we are a perfect match”. Finally take some twine and tie it around the box as you would do with a present, end with a bow, cut the excess and add your little tag. This gift is super cute and I think everyone would love it.
To personalize a chocolate bar first take out the wrap and wrap it again with some aluminum foil. If it already comes with a shiny type of paper inside you can leave that and skip this step. Then wrap it in some cardstock as I’m doing here and of course you can use whatever color you want. Then I made a little cute monster with a pink piece of cardstock and some googly eyes and I wrote my message. As you see this is a super simple way to personalize a simple chocolate bar and it’s really easy to make it your way.
For the last project you will need a thick acetate sheet with you can find at craft stores. Make a roll that will fit your chocolates, cut the excess and tape that in place. Put the chocolates inside, cut the excess from the sides and pinch the ends and tape them down to close the box. Then, I made a little label with two pieces of cardstock, punched a hole, and wrote my message. Thread the label through a twine piece and wrap this around the box as I’m doing here, crossing over and under until I reach the other end and then just make a bow. And you will have a little box of chocolate to give to anyone you want.
So those were all the ideas for today, let me know in the comments if you would want more valentine’s day videos and I will come next week with more DIYs. Thanks for watching!
