Endicott Arm and Dawes Glacier was one of our destination when we had our 7 day Alaska cruise on Royal Caribbean ship Ovation of the Seas, It was an amazing experience. to see a Glacier and the magnificent landscape sorrounding it was an experience of a life time.
Located at the head of Endicott Arm Fjord and protected within the Tongass National Forest, Dawes Glacier was originally named “Young Glacier” in 1880 by John Muir.
