The strings usually play the same notes as the singers, but when they're separate, they're visible with tracers that follow the line; otherwise, the tracers show the movement of the vocal parts. The beginnings of syllables in the text are marked with irregular shapes. The rotating cones show the oboes (in unison except at the end) followed canonically by the low bass (these two parts are shown an octave higher than they sound). At the end, the two highest oboe lines are shown (the are the top two notes in the final chord).
