Hello guys, welcome back to Car Obsession, and welcome to another walkaround video. This time around it's all about the new KIA Sportage. As always, I will take you around the car, talk you through the specification, and give you my first impressions.
The model on test is the '3', which is one up from the base model and has a starting price of £32,000. Standard features include LED lights, front and rear parking sensors, tinted rear windows, keyless entry, 18" alloys, dual zone climate control, 12.3" touchscreen, 12.3" digital driver display, heated front seats, heated outer rear seats, heated steering wheel, sat nav, reversing camera, as well as a healthy amount of safety features.
The model tested is powered by a 1.6 litre turbocharged petrol, which believe or not, features no electrification. The engine offers 150hp, along with 250Nm of torque, which is fed to the front wheels via a 6-speed manual gearbox. In terms of performance, the Sportage will hit 60mph in 9.9 seconds, with a top speed of 113mph. Regarding fuel economy, on a combined run you can expect up to 41.5mpg and CO2 emissions are 154g/km.
