Q: What does the display show?
A: The lower-right-hand section of the display shows the guitar fingerboard as it is normally seen (with varying distances between frets). The finger positions are shown in white, when they either stop a string at a fret (circle) or touch a string to create a harmonic (rhombus). The section in the middle shows the frets spaced equally (so that every half-step is the same size), and the section at the right shows the lines of the treble staff (and ledger lines).
Q: What do the colors mean?
A: Colors are assigned according to pitch, in a system I call "harmonic coloring" (since it shows changes in harmonies). You can read more about this here:
