PlayStation boss Jim Ryan announced earlier this week that Sony has officially decided to overturn their decision to end support for the PS3 and PS Vita PlayStation Stores. While it’s a huge win for game historians and fans of old games alike there still seems to be a rising tide of unrest among the PlayStation nation.
Sony was quick to adopt a $70 dollar price tag for new games, it was also revealed recently that they rejected a proposal for Days Gone 2, and have been shuttering their smaller studios and dumping resources into less risky projects like an Uncharted sequel and another Last of Us Remake.
Sony was undoubtedly the leading console manufacturing coming into the new console generation and that probably won’t change for a while but there might be something to some of the criticisms they have been facing lately.
