Ever heard of a surface chart? If you've seen those topographical maps online that show land elevation, this is where the idea comes from. It's basics another way to show the relationship between two (or more) sets of data. There are probably other charts that are better (like bar or column charts) but if you have to create a basic surface chart, here's how to do it.
