Q: Because of Boys Over Flowers, a lot of Chinese fans also admire you. BoF must be a turning point in your acting career. Do you feel any different in your daily life?
A: Yes, it was a big turning point. Before BoF not a lot of people knew who I was, but because of this drama, people learned who I was, showed an interest in me, and Ive gotten a lot more fans, which makes me really happy. It seems like theres a big difference.
Q: Facing the new found popularity, is it hard to adjust?
A: In reality, I really dont know everyone that well, but a lot of people know about me. Being in the public eye, my every action is being watched. At first I wasnt used to this, but now Im starting to adjust.
Q: Acting in The Man Who Cant Get Married is more or less a challenge to take on different roles. What did you get out of it?
A: In Boys Over Flowers, my character Ga Eul is a high school student who is introverted. However in The Man Who Cant Get Married, Yoo Jin is a 26 year old woman with a cheerful and outgoing personality, which is closer to my personality in real life. So I thought maybe I acted more naturally in this role. I have learned a lot from the drama, such as the life of a woman in her 20s and social life.
Q: Chinese fans also want Ga Eul and Yi Jeong to be together. What do you think of Kim Bum? Is there a possibility for further development?
A: (Laughs) A lot of people tell me that. However Bummie and I college friends, and we have known each other for a while. Therefore I dont feel that way about him, and were just good friends. (More laughs) I hope everyone else can think this way too.
Q: If you like someone in real life, would you secretly like him or confess straight out? If you got rejected like in boF, what would you do?
A: There is the difference between Ga Eul and So Eun. Im not the type of person who would confess, but rather keep my feelings to myself. Ga Eul is the opposite. When she finds the person she likes, she is strong and will confess to that person and try to earn his love. After acting this role, my outlook on love seems to change a little as well.
Q: Do you have any new projects after The Man Who Cant Get Married?
A: At this moment Im still looking through the offers, hopefully I can meet you guys in my new project. Please wait a while longer.
Q: What do you like to do in your free time?
A: I like to exercise, read, study, and sometimes look at movies and dramas to practice acting. Sometimes I also go out with friends to play. Im not only an actress. In real life Im not different from girls my age.
Q: Within the actress circle, who are you close friends with? Is Kim So Euns personality like Chu Ga Eul?
A: The popular Geum Jan Di. Unnie and I have a good relationship. And Im good friends with Go Ara, who goes to the same university.
Q: Do you like any Chinese celebrities or directors?
A: I like Jay Chou, who acted in Secret. Do you like him too? (Laughs) I really like him and I enjoyed that movie. I think hes very amazing, being able to take on many professions such as actor, director, and singer, and he does everything so well. Therefore I admire him.
Q: Lastly, what would you like to say to your Chinese fans?
